1. Overview

This website is operated by LALU ALIS PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ ("Alis Lalu"), hosted on Shopify Inc. By accessing the website and/or purchasing products, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy.

3. Eligibility

To use this website, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have full legal capacity to enter into contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Not use the website for illegal purposes

4. Products — Handmade Jewelry

All products are handcrafted jewelry. Minor variations in color, texture, or size may occur — each piece has a unique character. Product images are for presentation purposes only and do not constitute an absolute guarantee. Minor aesthetic differences do not constitute defects.

Precious metals are sold in accordance with applicable Romanian legislation and under authorization by the National Authority for Consumer Protection – Precious Metals Directorate.

5. Customized Products

Products with engraving, personalized text, made-to-order modifications, or custom sizing are considered customized. Per EU consumer legislation, such products:

  • Cannot be returned
  • Cannot be canceled once production has started
  • Are not eligible for the standard right of withdrawal

The customer is fully responsible for the accuracy of engraving or customization details.

6. Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, incorrect stock availability, suspected fraud, invalid delivery address, or failed/incomplete payment. We may also limit quantities or block unauthorized resellers.

7. Prices

Prices are displayed in RON or the selected currency, with VAT included where applicable. Prices may change without prior notice. Orders based on obvious pricing errors may be canceled.

8. Payments

Payments are processed through secure third-party providers (Shopify / Netopia/authorized payment processors), or bank transfer. We do not store card details. We reserve the right to refuse transactions identified as high-risk.

9. Shipping

We ship domestically and internationally. Delivery times are estimated, not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services, customs procedures, public holidays, force majeure, or customs inspections.

10. Customs Duties — International Orders

For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes, local VAT, and customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price.

11. Right of Withdrawal — EU

EU customers have the right to withdraw within 14 days for non-customized products (per Directive 2011/83/EU and OUG no. 34/2014) per our Returns and Refunds Policy. Conditions: product unused and unworn, no signs of use, original packaging, intact labels.

Exceptions: customized products, engraved items, made-to-order modifications.

12. Warranty and Wear

Jewelry is subject to normal wear and tear. Scratches from use, natural oxidation, mechanical wear, and deformation from improper use do not constitute defects. Care and maintenance instructions must be followed. This does not affect the consumer's statutory rights regarding legal conformity warranties.

13. Prohibited Use

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Hacking or unauthorized access
  • Scraping or data harvesting
  • Spamming or fraud
  • Illegal use or intellectual property infringement
  • Transmitting malware
  • Collecting user data without authorization

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access without prior notice.

14. Intellectual Property

All website elements — logo, jewelry designs, photographs, texts, and branding — are protected and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.

15. User-Generated Content

We may use reviews, submitted photos, and feedback for promotional purposes without compensation, provided they were submitted voluntarily.

16. Third-Party Services

The website may include third-party services (Shopify, payment processors, courier companies, analytics, marketing tools). We do not control these systems; use is at the user's own risk.

17. Information Errors

We reserve the right to correct product descriptions, prices, stock information, and promotions. Orders based on obvious errors may be canceled.

18. Website Disclaimer

The website is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of technical errors, or compatibility with all devices.

19. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data, service interruptions, courier delays, customs charges, or misinterpretation of product characteristics. Maximum liability is limited to the value of the order.

20. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from breach of these Terms, illegal use, fraud, or intellectual property violations.

21. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by natural disasters, armed conflicts, pandemics, logistical disruptions, or governmental restrictions.

22. Privacy and Cookies

Data is processed per our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are integral parts of these Terms.

23. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access with or without notice in cases of violation of Terms, suspected fraud, or illegal/abusive use. This does not affect obligations already incurred.

24. Severability

If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are settled by the competent courts of Romania. EU customers retain mandatory consumer protection rights under their local law.

26. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The published version on the website is the applicable one.
